FCI – FCM WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE.

OFFERED ON SUNDAY NOVEMBER 5TH, 2028,

FCI WORLD WINNER CHAMPION WDS TITLE CIRCUIT.
MEXICO (WW-28). NOVEMBER 5, 2028

The title “FCI World Winner Champion WDS – Mexico 2028” will be awarded to the dog and the bitch that are proposed for the FCI-CACIB (see section 7 “Titles, awards and main ring competitions” of the FCI Show Regulations). Meaning that the dogs winning best male (winners dog) and best female (winners bitch) on Sunday November 5th will obtain this title. The awarding of this title is irrespective of the entry for this particular breed. In case of breeds provisionally recognized by the FCI, the FCI World Winner Champion titles will be awarded to best male and best female from the intermediate, open, working and champion class. These breeds are not eligible for FCI-CACIB.

FCI WORLD JUNIOR WINNER CHAMPION TITLE.
MEXICO (JWW-25). NOVEMBER 5, 2028

The title “FCI World Junior Winner – Mexico 2028” will be awarded to the FCI-CACIB-J (dog and bitch) provided they have received the qualification “EXCELLENT 1st” on Sunday November 5th ,2028. Meaning that the dogs winning best junior male and best junior female will obtain this title. The Junior FCI winner titles are awarded according to the FCI-CACIB distribution list.

FCI WORLD MINOR PUPPY A PUPPY B CHAMPION TITLE.
MEXICO (WH-28). NOVEMBER 5, 2028

The title “FCI World Hope – Mexico 2028” the CACIB will be awarded to the winners of both Minor Puppy “A” (male and female) and Puppy “B” (male and female) classes, provided they have received the qualification “VERY PROMISING 1st” on Sunday November 5th ,2028. Meaning that the dogs winning best minor puppy male, best minor puppy female, best puppy male and best puppy female will obtain this title according to the FCI-CACIB distribution

FCI WORLD VETERAN WINNER CHAMPION TITLE
MEXICO (VWW-28). NOVEMBER 5, 2028

The title “FCI World Veteran Winner – Mexico 2028” will be awarded to the FCI-CACIB (male and female) provided they have received the qualification “EXCELLENT 1st” on Sunday November 5th ,2028. Meaning that the dogs winning best veteran male and best veteran female will obtain the CACIB for this title. The Veteran FCI winner titles are awarded according to the FCI-CACIB distribution list.

FCI INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION (CACIB) TITLE

The FCI International Championship (CACIB) will be offered the four days of the circuit. According to FCI rules, to obtain the FCI international championship (CACIB), four Certificates of Aptitude of Beauty (CACIB) by four different judges are required. The CACIB will be offered the four days of circuit of shows in accordance to the FCI rules.

Only one CACIB can be awarded in each sex, in every breed and breed variety – in accordance with the FCI Breed Nomenclature- on the same day and at the same place. The only dogs which can be taken into consideration for the CACIB are those which have been awarded “EXCELLENT 1” in intermediate, open, working and champion class. A CACIB can only be awarded if the dog in question has been assessed as being of superior quality. The CACIB is not automatically and compulsorily linked to the “EXCELLENT 1”.

The Reserve CACIB is awarded to the second-best dog which was given the qualification “EXCELLENT” from the above-mentioned classes. The dog placed second in the class where the CACIB winner comes from can compete for the Reserve CACIB, if awarded excellent. It is not compulsory to award the Reserve CACIB.

The judge awards CACIB and Reserve CACIB according to the quality of the dogs without checking whether they meet the conditions regarding age and/or registration with a studbook recognized by the FCI. The judge can withhold any award if he/she decides to do so.

No working class certificates (CACIT) will be offered during this section shows circuit.

When obtaining the four CACIB’s, the FCI International Championship Title will be processed and shipped by the FCI; therefore, the FCI will be in charge of sending the title to the owners.

**ALL TITLES OFFERED DURING WORLD DOG CIRCUIT – MEXICO 2028 FROM NOVEMBER 2ND THROUGH NOVEMBER 5TH CAN BE COLLECTED, THE SAME DAY WHEN OBTAINED, AT THE FCM DESK WITHOUT ANY COST. BRING YOUR CERTIFICATES FOR THE TITLES TO BE MADE**

THE FCI INTERNATIONAL CHAMPION TITLE (CACIB) AT THE FCI- FCM 2028 WORLD DOG SHOW CIRCUIT WILL BE OFFERED IN ACCORDANCE TO THE FCI RULES, TITLES WILL BE SENT BY THE FCI.

THE MEXICAN CHAMPION TITLE AT THE FCI- FCM WORLD DOG SHOW CIRCUIT

THE FCM MEXICAN TITLE WILL BE OFFERED THE FOUR DAYS OF SHOWS FROM NOVEMBER 2 THROUGH NOVEMBER 5, 2028.

 

MEXICAN FCM CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE.

With one CACM “Mexican Champion at WDS will be award – Mexico 2028” title will be offered during the four days circuits events, to the “Best Male” and “Best Female” in every breed that will receive a special CACM with first-place “excellent” from winnersin the classes: intermediate, open, bred by exhibitor, working, champion, and veteran; males and females in each breed, according to judge’s criteria.

 

MEXICAN JUNIOR CHAMPION TITLE AT THE FCI

CLASSES IN WHICH THE DOGS CAN COMPETE DURING THE FCI- FCM WORLD DOG SHOW MEXICO 2028.

To participate as an exhibitor of one or more dogs in the exhibition circuit of the “FCI – FCM World Dog Show – Mexico 2028” (four exhibitions), during November 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th, 2028, which will take place as follow:

  • Thursday November 2nd, 2028, Pan-American Championship title.
  • Friday November 3rd, 2028, Continental Championship title.
  • Saturday November 4th, 2028, Intercontinental Championship title.
  • Sunday November 5th, 2028, World Championship title.

The entry of each dog must be using an official registration form (one per dog) by filling out the online entry form; dogs can be entered in any of the following classes (only one class per dog):

MINOR PUPPY “A”:

Puppies from 3 to 6 months of age. Can complete for the following puppy titles: Panamerican Minor Puppy Winner, Continental Minor Puppy Winner, Intercontinental Minor Puppy Winner, Mexican Minor Puppy Winner and World Hope 2028 in every breed. Minor puppies can complete for the best minor puppy of breed and best minor puppy in show, only if they have been awarded first place with “Very Promising” at judge’s criteria. Dogs entered in this class, cannot compete to obtain the international title (CACIB).

 

PUPPY “B”

Puppies from 6 to 9 months of age. Can complete for the following puppy titles: Panamerican Puppy Winner, Continental Puppy Winner, Intercontinental Puppy Winner, Mexican Puppy Winner and World Hope 2028 in every breed. Puppies can compete for the best puppy of breed, best puppy in group and best puppy in show, only if they have been awarded first place with “Very Promising” at judge’s criteria. Dogs entered in this class, cannot compete to obtain the international title (CACIB).

JUNIOR: from 9 to 18 months of age.

Can complete for the following junior championships: Panamerican Championship, Continental Championship, Intercontinental Championship, Mexican Championship and FCI World Championship 2028 in every breed. Can compete for the best junior of breed, best of breed, best junior in group, best in group, best junior in show and best in show; only if they have been awarded first place with excellent at judge’s criteria. Dogs entered in this class can compete for the Junior CACIB.

INTERMEDIATE: from 15 to 24 months of age.

Can compete for the following championships: Panamerican Championship, Continental Championship, Intercontinental Championship, Mexican Championship and FCI World Championship 2028 in every breed. Also, can compete for International (CACIB) championship, best of breed, best in group and best in show; only if they have been awarded first place with excellent at judge’s criteria.

OPEN: with 15 months of age or over.

Can compete for the following championships: Panamerican Championship, Continental Championship, Intercontinental Championship, Mexican Championship and FCI World Championship 2028 in every breed. Also, can compete for International (CACIB) championship, best of breed, best in group and best in show; only if they have been awarded first place with excellent at judge’s criteria.

BRED BY EXHIBITOR: with 15 months of age or over, cobred by the person who will exhibit the dog.

Can compete for the following championships: Panamerican Championship, Continental Championship, Intercontinental Championship, Mexican Championship and FCI World Championship 2028 in every breed. Also, can compete for International (CACIB) championship, best of breed, best in group and best in show; only if they have been awarded first place with excellent at judge’s criteria.

WORKING: with 15 months of age or over.

To enter a dog in working class, the entry form must be accompanied by a copy of the FCI compulsory certificate, WCC (Working Class Certificate), containing the confirmation by the member country in which the holder and/or owner has his legal residence, that the dog has passed an appropriate test as well as details about this test.

Can compete for the following championships: Panamerican Championship, Continental Championship, Intercontinental Championship, Mexican Championship and FCI World Championship 2028 in every breed. Also, can compete for International (CACIB) championship, best of breed, best in group and best in show; only if they have been awarded first place with excellent at judge’s criteria.

CHAMPION:

With 15 months of age or over. To enter in this class, the dog must have a championship title from any FCI member countries, or from a non-FCI country which has signed a letter of understanding with FCI – (AKC, CKC etc.).

Can compete for the following championships: Panamerican Championship, Continental Championship, Intercontinental Championship, Mexican Championship and FCI World Championship 2028 in every breed. Also, can compete for International (CACIB) championship, best of breed, best in group and best in show; only if they have been awarded first place with excellent at judge’s criteria.

GRAND CHAMPION:

With 15 months of age or over. To enter in this class, the dog must have a grand championship title from any FCI member countries, or from a non-FCI country which has signed a letter of understanding with FCI – (AKC, CKC etc.).

Can compete for the following championships: Panamerican Championship, Continental Championship, Intercontinental Championship, Mexican Championship and FCI World Championship 2028 in every breed. Also, can compete for International (CACIB) championship, best of breed, best in group and best in show; only if they have been awarded first place with excellent at judge’s criteria.

VETERAN DOGS:

From 8 years of age and over with championship titles from any FCI member countries, or from a non-FCI country which has signed a letter of understanding with FCI (AKC, CKC etc). Can also complete for the following veteran championships: Panamerican Championship, Continental Championship, Intercontinental Championship, Mexican Championship and FCI World Championship 2028 in every breed. Also, can compete for best veteran of the breed, best of breed, best veteran in group, best in group, best veteran in show and best in show; only if they have been awarded first place with excellent at judge’s criteria. Dogs can compete for the Veteran CACIB.

EXHIBITION CLASSES

BRACE / COUPLE CLASS

A dog and a bitch of the same breed and variety and belonging to the same owner. To compete in these competitions, the dogs must be entered individually in one of the FCI compulsory classes.

 

BREEDER’S GROUP

Consisting of minimum three or more exhibits of the same breed and variety, no matter what gender, bred by the same person (same kennel name), even if they are not his property. To compete at this shows, the dogs must be entered individually in one of the FCI.

PROGENY GROUP

A sire or dam with minimum three or more of his/her progenies (first generation, sons/ daughters). To compete in these competitions, the dogs must be entered individually in one of the FCI compulsory classes.

BREED JUDGING PROCEDURE

  • 1. Minor Puppy “A” males’ class is judged* (3 to 6 months puppies).
  • 2. Minor Puppy “A” females’ class is judged* (3 to 6 months puppies).
  • 3. The winners from Minor Puppy “A” male and Minor Puppy “A” female with “very promising” grade, will be judged to select.

BEST MINOR PUPPY “A” OF BREED will compete for the best minor puppy “A” in show

  • 4. Puppy “B” males’ class is judged* (6 to 9 months puppies).
  • 5. Puppy “B” females’ class is judged* (6 to 9 months puppies).
  • 6. The winners from Puppy “B” male and Puppy “B” female with “very promising” grade, will be judged to select.

BEST PUPPY “B” OF BREED will compete for the best puppy “B” in group and best puppy “B” in show.

  • 7. Junior males’ class is judged* (9 to 18 months puppies). The winner of the junior class with 1st “excellent” will obtain the CACIB-Junior under the judge’s opinion and will complete for the best of breed.

MALES

  • 8. Intermediate males’ class is judged* (15 to 24 months dogs).
  • 9. Open males’ class* is judged (over 15 months dogs).
  • 10. Working males’ class is judged* (over 15 months dogs with FCI working title).
  • 11. Breed By Exhibitor males’ class is judged* (over 15 months dogs bred or co-bred by exhibitor)
  • 12. Champion males’ class is judged* (over 15 months dogs with champion title)
  • 13. Grand Champion males’ class is judged. * (over 15 months dogs with grand champion title)
  • 14. The winners with “Excellent” grade from the classes: “intermediate”, “open”, “working”, “bred by exhibitor”, “champion” and “grand champions” will be judged to select BEST MALE OF BREED – FCI CACIB (WINNERS MALE) and the FCI RESERVE CACIB, depending on the judge’s opinion. Will compete for the best of breed.
  • 15. Veteran males’ class is judged* (Champion dogs over 8 years). The winner of the veteran class with 1st place “excellent” will obtain the FCI CACIB-Veteran under the judge’s opinion and will compete for best of breed.

FEMALES

  • 16. The females will be judged with the same procedure as the males’ classes from Junior to Veteran. The winners with “Excellent” grade from the classes from “intermediate”, “open”, “working”, “bred by exhibitor”, “champion” and “grand champions” will be judged to select BEST FEMALE OF BREED – FCI CACIB (WINNERS FEMALE) and the FCI RESERVE CACIB, depending on the judge’s opinion. The winner with “Excellent” grade from Junior class will obtain the CACIB-Junior and the winner with “Excellent” grade from veteran class will obtain the CACIB-Veteran. Best Junior Female, Beste Female, Best Veteran female will compete for the best of breed.

THE WINNERS OF THE FOLLOWING CLASSES WILL COMPETE FOR THE BEST OF BREED:

  • First place “Veteran male” – CACIB-Veteran winner.
  • First place “Veteran female” – CACIB-Veteran winner.
  • “Best male” – CACIB winner.

The judge will select, among those six dogs, the following awards:

  • “BEST OF BREED”
  • “BEST OPPOSITE SEX”,

  • “BEST VETERAN”
  • “BEST JUNIOR”

Right after the best of breed competition is done, the exhibition classes will be judge, from each breed:

  • Couple
  • Brace
  • Progeny

ALL DOGS WILL BE AWARDED ACCORDING TO THE FCI RULES IN THE JUDGES CRITERIA.
*All classes: (junior, intermediate, open, bred by exhibitor, working, champion, grand champion and veteran) will be awarded from 1st to 4th place with grades: Excellent (EX), Very Good (VG), Good (G) or Sufficient (S) according to judge’s criteria.
*All classes (minor puppy “A” and puppy “B”) will be awarded from 1st to 4th place with grades: Very Promising (VP) or Premising (P)

FCI-FCM WORLD CHALLENGE FOR TOP DOGS MEXICO CITY, WORLD DOG SHOW 2028

The best dogs from the FCI member countries compete for the FCI-FCM World Challenge at Top Dog of the World 2028 title. The national kennel clubs are invited to select a dog to represent their country at the competition in Mexico. This event will take place on Saturday November 4th, 2028.

The best dogs from the FCI member countries compete for the FCI-FCM Top Dogs of the World 2028 title. The national kennel clubs are invited to select a dog to represent their country at the competition in Mexico.

The FCI and the FCM does not provide any guidelines for the selection of the dog’s representative, from the National Kennel Club. This is entirely at the discretion of the NCO, of what method or system they will use to select their representative for the World Challenge in Mexico. Please be aware that all the expenses related to the dogs and owner’s travel and accommodation, are under the responsibility of the relevant owner and/or NCO. The FCM will not charge any entry fee.

Please advise FCM who was selected to represent your country at the FCI – FCM World Challenge, Mexico.

Information about the competition and entry form will be sent to all national kennel clubs. The entries are free. Forms are to be returned no later than the last entry date is September 4th, 2028, without any charge.

The pre-selection will take place from Thursday November 2nd through Saturday November 4th in the evening (one group per day) and the final BIS of the FCI – FCM World Challenge for Top Dogs will take place on Sunday November 5th, 2028, in the morning. All participating dogs will be split into three groups for pre-selection, on a random basis. The top four dogs from each of the three groups will compete for the final best World. Each group will be judged by one judge, and a fourth judge will designate the BIS. The Winner of the final will be awarded the title of Winners of the FCI – FCM World Challenge for Top Dogs. Judges will be announced in January 2028).

The four winners from each of the three groups will be awarded the title FCI TOP DOG 2028. The BEST IN SHOW winner of the challenge will obtain the title “WINNER OF THE WORLD 2028”

TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS FROM THE WORLD

During the World Dog Show – Mexico 2028 circuit, a special event will take place
at the same location: “The Tournament of Champion from the World” is a unique competition which procedure is differently from other shows. Only dogs holding the title of Champion or Junior Champion from any country recognized by the Federation Cynologique Internationale – FCI (junior or adult) may be entered for this event. Including AKC (USA), CKC (Canada), KC (United Kingdom), ANMC (Australia), etc.

The dogs can be entered in one of two classes:

  • Junior Champions: Males and females from 9 to 18 months of age (at the date of the show) with a junior champion title from any country of the world.
  • Champion: Males and females with a championship title from any country of the world.

In this tournament, dogs will be separated by group, breed, and class (junior champion and champion).
There will be eleven groups where dogs can compete according to their breed:

  • FCI Group 1 – Sheepdogs and Cattledogs (except Swiss Cattledogs).
  • FCI Group 2 – Pinscher and Schnauzer – Molossoid and Swiss Mountain and Cattledog.
  • FCI Group 3 – Terriers.
  • FCI Group 4 – Dachshunds.
  • FCI Group 8 – Spitz and primitive types.
  • FCI Group 6 – Scent hounds and related breeds.
  • FCI Group 7 – Pointing Dogs.
  • FCI Group 8 – Retrievers, Flushing Dogs & Water Dogs.
  • FCI Group 9 – Companion and Toy Dogs.
  • FCI Group 10 – Shighthounds.
  • Grupo 11 – Breeds not recognized by FCI but recognized by an FCI member or associate country.

The judging procedure will be as follows:

  1. Junior champion males and females from the same breed will enter the ring. The judge will select a “junior best of breed” who will obtain the title “Junior Champion of Champions” of the breed (example: “Bulldog Junior Champion of Champions”), a “junior best opposite sex”, a “Junior select male” and a “junior select female”. The “junior best of breed” will compete for the “junior best of group”
  2. Champion males and females from the same breed will enter the ring. The judge will select a “best of breed” who will obtain the title “Champion of Champions” of the breed (example: “Bulldog Champion of Champions”), a “best opposite sex”, a “select male” and a “select female”. The “best of breed” will compete for the “best of group” 
  3. The “junior best of breed” winners from each group will enter the main ring and the judge will select four (4) places:
    1. Best Junior of Group
    2. 2nd Best Junior of Group
    3. 3rd Best Junior of Group
    4. 4th Best Junio oj Group

This procedure will be the same for the eleven groups. The winners of each junior group (1st place) will compete for the “Junior Best in Show”.

4. The “best of breed” winners from each group will enter the main ring and the judge will select four (4) places:

    1. Best of Group
    2. 2nd Best of Group
    3. 3rd Best of Group
    4. 4th Best of Group

This procedure will be the same for the eleven groups. The winners of each group (1st place) will compete for the “Best in Show”.

5. The eleven “Best Junior of Group” winners will enter the ring, and the judge will select three (3) places:

 

  • i. Best in Show Junior (Junior Champion of Champions from the World)
  • ii. Reserve Best in Show Junior
  • iii. 3rd place Best in Show Junior

6. The eleven “Best of Group” winners will enter the ring, and the judge will select three (3) places:

  • i. Best in Show (Champion of Champions from the World)
  • ii. Reserve Best in Show
  • iii. 3rd place Best in Show

The judging procedure for the “CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS FROM THE FCI – FCM WORLD TOURNAMENT” may be modified according to the organizers’ best practice, and any changes must always be informed before the event.

Trophies, rosettes and specials prices will be offered in this competition.

WORLD JUNIOR HANDLING COMPETITION

There will be one junior handler competition each day.

There will be a class division by age for the first three days (Thursday through Saturday)

  • Boys and girls over 7 years of age and under 10 years of age.
  • Boys and girls from 10 years of age and under 14 years of age.
  • Boys and girls from 14 years of age and under 18 years of age.

     

And there will be a class division for Sunday November 5th, 2028, for the World Dog Show competition:

  • Boys and girls over 7 years of age and under 10 years of age.
  • Boys and girls from 10 years of age and under 18 years of age.

     

Handlers between the ages of 7 and 18 will have the opportunity to show their dogs in the four shows on the circuit. This competition will be judged by world-renowned judges. The Junior Handler Competition will be judged on each day of the event.

For the competition on Sunday, November 5th (World Dog Show 2028), all FCI member countries may register their representatives. These countries’ representatives will participate directly in the finals. If these competitors wish to participate in the competitions on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, they must complete their registration form.

This competition will be free of charge. Junior handlers entered in this competition will be required to send and bring to the show an official identification or date of birth certificate. (Birth certificate, passport, credential, etc.).

ENTRIES FEES WILL BE PUBLISHED ONE YEAR BEFORE THE SHOW. Entries for dogs of any Mexican breed (Xoloitzcuintle, Chihuahueño, and Calupoh) with FCM registration is free; however, if you enter a dog and it doesn’t attend the event and participate, the owner will be charged the corresponding registration fee, without exception.

  • After the day of the last closing date, NO entries will be accepted.
  • To enter foreign dogs that does not have an FCM registration number, a copy of the official pedigree of the country of origin is required. It must be an export pedigree from FCI countries or countries that FCI recognize with at least three generations. Also, to enter a dog in the Working class, a copy of the working title is required.
  • Payments: Please send bank deposits, wire money transfers or credit card at the Federación Canófila Mexicana AC office. The money payed for an entry cannot be refund.
